How To Create a Statement Wall

Are any of you ready to start working in your classrooms? I had to switch rooms this year and am having so much fun dreaming up how I want this space to look.
One of my passions is creating a learning environment that kids are excited to be in each day. When I saw this huge wall (mostly covered with whiteboards), I knew I wanted to do something to make it pop.
As I’m sure you have seen, contact paper and wall papers have been super popular in a lot of classrooms. I love the look of wallpaper, but was not able to find a design that I loved. After almost settling for one that was trendy, I stumbled upon these decals.

They were not expensive ($12.90 for 52 stickers), had pretty good reviews, and wouldn’t damage the walls, so I decided to take the plunge. And I’m so glad I did!
They went up very easily and are easy to reposition if you change your mind about the placement. I did my entire wall in probably 15 minutes. I love the geometric design and that they didn’t have to be ‘perfect’ – I just randomly placed them.

I’m extremely happy with my choice and it’s fun to do something that’s a little different than what everyone else is doing.
