My 5 Favorite Places to Find Cute Classroom Decorations
Do you want your classroom to be cute, fun, comfortable, and inspiring? Yes! We all do!

We want students to feel at home and welcome in our classrooms from day one. That's why I want to share my 5 favorite places to find cute classroom decor.

1. Hobby Lobby
Hobby Lobby has a ton of fun and inspiring pictures, plaques, and wall decor. I always check the clearance at Hobby Lobby when I'm there and often can find wall decor for 70% off.
Of course, if you find something you love that's not on clearance, you can use their weekly 40% off coupon.
Target Dollar Spot has so many cute things for classrooms that are usually released in July or August. Their products are less than $5 and are fun, small additions to the classroom.
You can also find some of the items online and in bulk!
3. IKEA
I have never actually been in IKEA (ND girl!), but I love shopping online for classroom decor. I have found great stools, rugs, and cheap pillows to use in my classroom!
4. Five Below
This is another store I haven't physically been to, but I love shopping online. They have great items for decoration and awesome fake plants that look great in the classroom. Also, as their name implies, everything is $5 or less!
5. Dollar Tree
This is a dollar store that always has great storage items. If I need new bins, this is my first stop. I bought a class set of plastic book bins 3 years ago and they're still in great shape!
I hope this list was helpful for you! I know that when I first started teaching, I struggled to find affordable, cute classroom decorations that me and my students liked.
Of course, teaching isn't all about a cute classroom, but when you spend 40+ hours a week in the same space, you want it to be a calming, comfortable, and welcoming place.
Do you shop at any of these places for classroom decorations? What other places do you shop at? Let me know in the comments below!
